Terms and conditions

Booking and Payment

  

  1. Subject to availability a non-refundable deposit of £100 secures the vehicle and Chauffeur for the date and time required. 
  2. The balance is payable no later than 30 days before the date required. We will provide a final payment invoice.
  3. Bookings that are made within 30 days of the date required should be paid in full at the time of booking. 
  4. We accept payment by Bank Transfer or cheque only. Cheque payments must provide cleared funds prior to the date required.
  5. The standard Wedding Hire period is four hours from the specified arrival time at your address; to the time we leave the Reception venue/final destination; additional hire over and above the prebooked four hours is charged at £35 per hour or part thereof and invoiced after the date required. 
  6. By making a booking i.e.; payment of the deposit and/or the full hire payment, it will be deemed that you have accepted without exclusion our Terms and Conditions of Hire. 
  7. We reserve the right to decline to accept a contract for hire in our sole discretion whether or not any suitable vehicle is available. 
  8. It is agreed that no service will be provided until all funds are fully cleared.
  9. We require immediate notification of cancellation or postponement of the event. Should cancellation or postponement occur, the following charges apply:

             a. cancellation within 16 weeks of the event - 50% of the outstanding balance will be

                 due.

             b. cancellation within 8 weeks of the event - 100% of the outstanding balance will be 

                 due.

             c. postponement of the event for any reason - full payment will still be due 4 weeks 

                 before the date of the original booking.

       10. Our vehicle will be cleaned to the highest standard, and will be checked over, and   

             cleaned again shortly before arrival. However, we can accept no liability, nor 

             responsibility for clothing becoming dirtied or damaged. This is particularly relevant 

             during times of inclement weather.

       11. Personal Belongings: Every effort is taken to ensure against damage or loss. It is the 

             hirer`s responsibility to ensure that all personal items are removed from the vehicle at 

             the end of the hire period. The car, once left its location, will not return with left items. 

             Any item found in the vehicle will be held for 14 days from the date of hire and it will be 

             the responsibility of the hirer to collect such items. Valuables should not be left in the 

             vehicle at anytime during the hire period. We take no responsibility for personal 

             belongings or clothing that may become damaged or lost.

Our Responsibilities

  1. We make every effort to supply our vehicle as you have requested, however, occasionally due to circumstances beyond our control the vehicle may not be available. In these circumstances we will: 

                  a. Endeavour to supply similar best alternative vehicle, or; 

                  b. If no alternative vehicle can be provided, refund the hire fees paid; please note 

                      this will be the full extent of our compensation to you. We therefore recommend 

                      that you obtain appropriate Wedding Insurance for your own protection. 

        2. If we are unable to complete the booking for whatever reason we will not be held   

            responsible or liable for any costs arising consequential of any losses and any refunds       

            will be limited to the money paid by the client.


           We advise that you make prior arrangements for a friend or family member attending 

           your wedding to stand in reserve to transport you to your wedding in the unlikely event 

           that our vehicle fails to proceed.

       3. We will do our utmost to ensure that our Chauffeur is punctual and where possible 

           arrives before the due arrival time. However, you will appreciate that we cannot be held 

           responsible for events such as road congestion, accidents, flat tires, breakdowns etc. 

      4. Our vehicle will be fully cleaned and prepared immediately prior to your Wedding Hire, 

           however, we cannot be responsible for any change to the outward appearance of the 

           vehicle if there is bad weather or poor terrain en-route to you or during the hire period.

       5. We are fully insured however, our insurance does not cover the following:

                  a. Customers to drive our vehicle

                  b. Loss or damage to customer possessions 

                  c. Consequential losses, delays or missed events 

       6. We cannot undertake to provide child seats because our vehicle is not fitted with 

           seatbelts.

      7. We cannot carry children under the age of 3 because our vehicle is not fitted with 

          seatbelts. Children over the age of three can only be carried in the rear of the vehicle if 

          accompanied by an adult. 

Your Responsibilities

  

  1. You will provide accurate full address details at the time of booking of the pick-up point, the ceremony and reception venues. Our booking form will show these addresses, please advise us of any inaccuracies immediately.
  2. You will inform us promptly of any changes to the above addresses which may also change the original hire quotation provided.
  3. You accept that we may refuse to carry a passenger or passengers as follows: 

                    a. Anyone who is or is thought to be under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol 

                    b. Anyone whose behaviour poses a threat to our Chauffeur, the vehicle itself or 

                        other passengers. 

        4. You agree not to smoke in our vehicle. 

        5. You agree that no additional wedding paraphernalia will be attached to our vehicle 

             including but not limited to; tin cans or other items attached by string or adhesives, 

             signs and slogans etc. 

       6. You accept responsibility for any damage, negligent or otherwise, (other than that 

            caused by a Road Traffic Accident or caused by our Chauffeur) to the interior or 

            exterior of the vehicle whilst on hire to you and further agree that you may be invoiced 

            accordingly for any repairs or valeting required to bring the vehicle back to pre-hire 

            condition.

        7. You agree that no confetti is to be thrown in our vehicle. We accept that there is a 

            potential for small amounts of confetti to enter the vehicle on clothing and carried in the 

            wind.



We reserve the right to amend or alter these terms and conditions at any time, and without prior notice.
